Arts and Entertainment is divided into two categories which supply a great deal of entertainment for the IUP campus:
“OnStage…” Arts and Entertainment
“OnStage…” Arts and Entertainment puts on approximately twelve nationally touring performances per year. Tickets for students are often as low as $13 and expose students to a wide variety of entertainment they could otherwise only get in a big city.
- Nationally touring Broadway musicals such as Driving Miss Daisy, 42nd Street, Chicago, Hairspray, and many others
- Musical acts such as Leann Rimes, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Spinners, Gordon Lightfoot, Lonestar, and more
- Others performers and acts such as Sinbad, Caroline Rhea, Ron White, Mannheim Steamroller, Cirque le Masque, and Wayne Brady
Ideas and Issues
Ideas and Issues is responsible for the lectures that come to campus. There are approximately two events per year.
- Past performers have included Jack Hanna, Danny Glover, Michael Moore, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, and many others.
