As an art major pursuing the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, you’ll receive a comprehensive and professional education under the expert guidance of our faculty.

You’ll start your education in the BA degree program for studio art, and then transfer into the BFA degree program at the end of your sophomore year by successfully completing the BFA sophomore review.

The BFA degree offers three studio emphasis tracks:

Individualized Studio Emphasis Track:


In this track, students are able to build a degree program to meet specialized individual needs.

You can cap off your studies with a professional practices course, including resume development, a thesis exhibition, portfolio development, and grant writing.

To apply to this major, you must prepare a portfolio that meets specific guidelines.
