Graphic Design Graduate Studio

Graphic Design Students

Graphic design challenges students to develop original, high-quality solutions to design problems.

Students create solutions in a variety of areas: publication design, interactive design, advertising, corporate identity, packaging, illustration, digital photography, and animation.

Students gain the experience to prepare them for the commercial art world.

Course Sequence

Courses in graphic design follow a numerical order, which can be deviated from depending upon the needs of the student. 400-level graphic design classes may be taken for either three or six credits and can be repeated for additional credit. Typically, when students repeat a 400-level course, they develop individualized plans of study which focus upon the student’s area of interest within graphic design.
