Faculty and students of the Art Department display their work in a variety of venues, including Kipp Gallery. A variety of multidiscipline exhibits is also shown in the University Museum throughout the year.
Kipp Gallery and its Annex Gallery are hosts to national and international exhibitions, lectures, and performance work that engage Indiana’s regional community and provide the opportunity to experience rich diversity within the field of art. Our mission is to provide a forum for students, faculty, and visual artists to explore the relationship between art and the forces that shape its creation.
The galleries are housed in Sprowls Hall, home of the Art Department, at the corner of Grant and Eleventh streets on the IUP campus. Admission to all exhibits is free. Kipp Gallery and the affiliated exhibition spaces listed below are sponsored by the IUP Student Cooperative Association, the Department of Art, and the College of Fine Arts.
During exhibition runs, Kipp Gallery is open from noon to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Unless otherwise notes, the Gallery is closed weekends and all university holidays. Admission is free.
For more information about exhibiting in Kipp Gallery, contact Christopher McGinnis, director, 724-357-7677 or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The University Museum brings the material history and arts of the region
together in an environment that encourages exploration, dialogue, and
enjoyment. Throughout the year, the museum features several curated and touring exhibits.
