This workshop is presented by Christoph Maier, ARL Coordinator, and Mehmet Ferhat Ozbek, Visiting Professor from Gumushane University in Turkey. Moderators are variables that affect the strength--and even possibly the direction--of the relationship between an independent variable and a dependent variable. We will focus on the special case of one variable moderating the effect of a continuous independent variable on a continuous dependent variable and look at an interesting example from Dr. Ozbek's ongoing research.
