Dr. Christoph Maier, Coordinator of ARL

Christoph Maier, Ph.D. (Oklahoma State University), assistant professor, Department of Mathematics. Christoph teaches Statistics and Mathematics courses to both graduate and undergrauate students and serves as the internship coordinator for the Mathematics Department. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math, with emphasis on Computer Science, from Ohio University (Athens, Ohio) and a Master of Arts degree in Pure Mathematics from Indiana University (Bloomington, Ind.). He is a statistical consultant with the Prostate and Urologic Cancer Program at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, a member of the Technical Committee E11 on Quality and Statistics for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and serves as chair of Subcommittee E11.85 (Support and Interpretation).

Lab Assistants, AY 2011–12

The Applied Research Lab employs seven graduate lab assistants during the current academic year. Kayla Copeland (k.a.copeland@iup.edu), Elijah Rach (e.rach@iup.edu), and Matthew Rancourt (m.e.rancourt@iup.edu) are enrolled in the Applied Mathematics master’s program; Adam Clark (a.l.clarke3@iup.edu) and Yu Ding (y.ding2@iup.edu) are enrolled in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program; Thomas Coyne (t.b.coyne@iup.edu) is enrolled in the Educational Psychology master’s program; and Jeffrey Roth (j.j.roth@iup.edu) is enrolled in the Criminology doctoral program.
