On Saturday, November 19, 2022, the Native American Awareness Council of IUP, in collaboration with Friends of White's Woods, is sponsoring a walk in the White's Woods Nature Center to honor to Native Americans during National Native American Awareness Month.
The walk will begin at noon the North 12th Street entrance. The walk will include a discussion of the tribes that inhabited Indiana County, as well as a discussion of the many contributions of Native Americans to society and the world.
