Anthropology professor Abigail Adams was an invited speaker at the University of Pittsburgh's Swanson School of Engineering Diversity Forum, held virtually on October 13, 2020.
Adams presented on implicit bias, critically compassionate intellectualism, and social justice and equity within higher education. Adam's presentation addressed the "new normal" of the COVID-19 pandemic and how members of a university can work to create a culture of inclusion, equity, and justice by taking action and engaging in their communities.
