Prospective students who have demonstrated excellence in academics and community
involvement are invited to interview for scholarship funding. Students will also hear from current faculty, staff, and students about financial aid, student organizations, and academic support. In order to be selected for a scholarship interview, interested persons must already be admitted to IUP and complete a promising scholars online application. Students who are selected for an interview will be notified by IUP Undergraduate Admissions staff about next steps. Each year, only 30 Board of Governors scholarships are awarded at this event. Scholarship awards will vary based on past academic achievement, community involvement, and quality of interview.
