Admission Requirements

The Decision Process

IUP makes admission decisions on a rolling basis.* Within weeks of applying, you'll receive a letter in the mail notifying you of the decision.

If you're accepted, the first thing you need to do is send your tuition deposit ($150) promptly to secure your place in the entering class.

*Exception: The Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program.

Readmission to IUP

Undergraduate students who have withdrawn from the university or were not enrolled during the previous regular semester must complete an application for readmission. Get more information.

  • Once you begin, you'll be able to save your application to return to later
  • PDF download, print, and complete
  • Mail with a check for the $50 application fee
