IUP is the only university in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to offer doctoral degrees. IUP has more than seventy master’s programs, including ten doctoral programs to choose from. - Applications for many programs are reviewed throughout the year, and admission decisions are made daily.
- Other programs operate with specific deadlines.
- Some IUP graduate programs use a cohort format—students begin their program the same semester, attend courses together, and finish the program at the same time.
