In the time it has sponsored this event, Bowl for Kids has raised over $400,000 for children in Indiana County. The bowl-a-thon raises funds to support local volunteer recruitment efforts for Big Hearts Little Hands, which provides professional staff to screen adult volunteers before they are matched with children and monitors the progress of matches once they are made. The IUP Graduate SHRM group raised $450 for the event. For every $1,000 raised, another child is matched for one year.
