These military veterans will inspire you with their story and their music the same way they reached out to millions as finalists on America’s Got Talent. Comprised of formerly homeless veterans who enrolled in the New Directions program in Los Angeles, the choir is an award-winning a cappella group that sings renditions of doo-wop, soul, traditional gospel, and popular music.

Spark, by Caridad Svich, is the story of three sisters living in the U.S. and caught in a recent war’s aftermath. It reflects what happens when soldiers come home, when women of little economic means must find ways to make do and carry on, and the strength of family.
