9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.	Diversity Counts Program Begins (Runs through 5/2/2013) African American Cultural Center, B23 Delaney Using an ethnic-based approach, Diversity Counts provides students with an opportunity to increase their interactions, involvement, and learning about or with people and programs diverse backgrounds. At the same time, they can earn points and raffle tickets that will give them a chance to win some nice prizes and / or diversity certificates. The more points and tickets earn the greater the chance of winning a prize. The program runs February 1, 2013 through May 2, 2013. Among the activities is Imagine That Essay Contest entitled "Racial/Ethnic Diversity 2050: Implications and Recommendations" that begins 2/8/2013 and ends 4:00 p.m. on 4/21/20013. To enroll in the program, recommend a program for the program, or to receive further information, contact the AACC Office at 724-357-2455.

All Day	Drop Ends-Deadline to Drop Classes IUP's registration system is University Records and Systems Assistant (URSA). From a student's initial registration time for a given semester through the end of the drop/add period, as defined by the academic calendar (www.iup.edu/academiccalendar), a student may modify his/her schedule to the extent that classes are available or permission to register for a closed or restricted section has been granted and entered into URSA. Each student is responsible for completing all appropriate transactions in URSA to ensure schedule accuracy. Note that, while the department may enter permission to register for a section, the student must complete the actual registration transaction in URSA.

A guest of the IUP Department of Music, Dr. Anna Stephan-Robinson will speak about her latest scholarly music theory project, "Peggy Sue Got Reworked: Nostalgia in Paul Simon's Old." Dr. Stephan-Robinson completed her Ph.D. in Music Theory from Eastman School of Music and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Music and Theater at West Liberty University. Her current work expands on her dissertation on the music of Paul Simon. She also serves as president of the Society of Music Theory's Popular Music Interst Group.

All Day	Mock Interview Sign-ups Begin Pratt 302 The Career Development Center provides practice employment interviews in a simulated office environment for a small fee. The interview allows you to practice several behaviors such as answering tough interview questions smoothly, how to dress for an interview, recognizing body language, and practicing manners and eye contact. The interviews are recorded onto a DVD so that visual feedback can be provided during the interview session. Mock interviews are conducted Monday through Friday during the semester and may be scheduled by visiting the Career Development Center in Pratt 302. Once an appointment is scheduled, a résumé, cover letter, and job posting must be submitted at least two business days before the scheduled interview.

HUB Ohio Room Black History Month 2013 is themed 2050: Rooted in the Past, Moving Forward and this program is presented as a special dedication to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It concludes a day-long list of events and features an interactive panel presentation of noted scholars, activist and performers that is designed to answer such questions as "Can today's art be an act of resustance to public policy that too often marginalizes youth, particularly those from Black and Brown communities - or is it simply a diversion in an era of individualism and consumer culture?
