IUP students and members from the community will engage us in music, good food, and holiday cheer. The students will also assist with decorating and will host a craft-making session for the childrena. A surprise visit from the 'MAN IN A RED SUIT will capture the evening and children will be provided Holiday Bags with plenty of goodies.
Meat, potatoes, gravy, bread and butter will be provided.
Guests are asked to bring a covered dish to share! Free and opened to the public!

IUP 2012 Kwanzaa activities is themed "A Little Bit of History, A Little Bit of Soul" and will include the traditional Kwanzaa Ceremony and performances by IUP Voices of Joy Gospel Choir, IUP Africa Dance Ensemble, guest performers Tobey Foyeh and Orchestra Africa of Nigeria, and guest speaker Dr. Fererai Trent, Oprah's "all-time favorite guest" and founder of Tinagana )Shoma for
'it is achievable'), which builds and repair schools in rural Zimbabwe. The program will also include the Kwanzaa Dinner and the guest is asked to bring a cover dish to share, which is in keeping with the spirit of Kwanzaa, and to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to a local Food Bank through the Ujamaa Food Drive. Everyone is invited to attend this events as we close the semester in celebration of friendship, diversity, and fellowship. The program is FREE and opened to all.
