Based on David Sedaris' bestselling book and directed by Nicholas Hrutkay, this performance features KRT company member Joe York as an out-of-work actor who takes a job as a Macy's Christmas elf. Now in his mid-thirties, this humorous one-man recount of the trials and tribulations of the holidays is sure to bring a smile to even the grouchiest of faces. NOTE: This show is for mature elves only. General Admission ticket prices are $14 Regular, $12 Discount, and $10 with an I-Card. Tickets are available at the door beginning 45 minutes before curtain. Your family’s smiles will begin before you even get to the show as the Harlem Globetrotters 2013 “You Write the Rules” World Tour takes kid participation to a whole new level. For the first time ever, fans will decide the rules for the game that could affect the final outcome. Vote for your favorite, craziest rule now at www.harlemglobetrotters.com, then see the winning rules implemented live into Globetrotter basketball. After the game, Globetrotter stars remain on court for autographs and photographs with fans (subject to availability). Before the game, take part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience with your family where you get to actually spend time on the court with the Globetrotters – shooting, trying out ball tricks, autographs and photos! The unique 30-minute pre-show, “Magic Pass”, will create memories of a lifetime. All customers must have a game ticket AND Magic Pass for entry. Magic Pass sold separately. Soft/rubber soled shoes must be worn on court. This year's Globetrotters roster features stars such as Hi-Lite Bruton, Dizzy Grant, Handles Franklin and female star Mighty Mitchell (rosters may vary in each city and are subject to change). IUP's registration system is University Records and Systems Assistant (URSA). From a student's initial registration time for a given semester through the end of the drop/add period, as defined by the academic calendar (www.iup.edu/academiccalendar), a student may modify his/her schedule to the extent that classes are available or permission to register for a closed or restricted section has been granted and entered into URSA. Each student is responsible for completing all appropriate transactions in URSA to ensure schedule accuracy. Note that, while the department may enter permission to register for a section, the student must complete the actual registration transaction in URSA.
